MFA TESTING

MFA TESTING

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Overview

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a second form of verification in addition to your password. Prophaze supports popular authenticator applications such as:

  • Google Authenticator
  • Microsoft Authenticator
  • 1Password
  • Authy

Enabling MFA helps protect your account from unauthorized access, even if your password is compromised.

How to Enable MFA

Step 1: Sign in to the Dashboard

Log in to your Prophaze dashboard at dash.prophaze.com using your account credentials.

Step 2: Open My Account

  1. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
  2. Select My Account from the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Enable Two-Factor Authentication

  1. Navigate to Two-Factor Authentication.
  2. Click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.

Step 4: Configure an Authenticator App

  1. Open your preferred authenticator application.
  2. Scan the QR code displayed on the screen.
  3. The authenticator app will generate a verification code.

Step 5: Activate MFA

  1. Enter the verification code generated by the authenticator app.
  2. Click Activate to complete the setup.

Verification

Once activated, MFA will be enabled for your account. During future logins, you will be required to enter both your password and the verification code generated by your authenticator application.

Note: Ensure you retain access to your authenticator application, as it will be required each time you sign in.
